You can find the Managarmr in the two DLCs Extinction and Lost Island from ARK: Survival Evolved, where he lives in the snow biomes. He is an agile and highly aggressive fellow who you usually only notice when he has had his sights on you for a long time and is attacking. Tamed, he is more than qualified as a battle and mount.

Appearance: The Managarmr looks like a hybrid between a wolf and a dragon. Its face ends in two horn-like bones above the forehead. It has a long, rather thick neck that ends in a wolf-like body. It has blue wings on its front legs, which are similar to those of a bat. Its tail is similar to that of the dragon, only covered with fur.

Wild: A Managarmr will attack anything that gets in its way. Sometimes he also glides through the air and looks out for new victims, which he then immediately pounces on. Because of this, it's likely that you won't notice him until he attacks you. Between his attacks, he'll jump high in the air and change position at breakneck speed until he attacks again. Using his ice breath, he can slow or freeze enemies.

Domesticated: Another passenger can sit on the Managarmr's saddle and use his weapons there. This combined with his agility and Ice Breath attack make him a perfect beast or fast mount.

How to hunt the Managarmr: After your first attack, the Managarmr will start bouncing in the air making it harder to hit. To prevent this and make it easier for you, place large bear traps around you. If he comes back to you from the air to attack you, he will end up in the bear trap and be arrested.

Once he's pinned down, fire your tranquilizer darts at him until he's unconscious.

How to tame him: Once he's unconscious, put meat or kibble in his inventory and feed him that. To keep the managarmr down and the stun value up, it's best to use Narcotic or narcoberries.

How to make the Managarmr Saddle

To craft the Managarmr Saddle, you need to be level 66 and 8 Engram Points to unlock the recipe. You now need the following resources to craft:

• 350x Hide
• 185x Fiber
• 150x Chitin, Keratin or shell fragment

How to feed a Managarmr in ARK

Once you have tamed your Managarmr, it is important to know what it likes to eat. Managarmres are carnivores, which of course makes the choice of food easier.

• Exceptional Kibble:
  • Ingredients: 1x Extra Large Egg, 10x Mejoberry, 1x Rare Flower, 1x Focal Chili, 5x Fiber, 1x Water
  • Ingredients for Focal Chili: 9x Cooked Meat, 5x Citronal, 20x Armaberry, 20x Azulberry, 20x Tintoberry, 10x Mejoberry, 1x Water

• Raw Mutton:
  • Received by gutting Ovis.
  • Cooking turns it into the Cooked Lamb Chop
• Raw Prime Meat:
  • Gained when gutting larger creatures
  • Cooking turns it into Cooked Prime Meat
• Raw Prime Fish Meat:
  • Obtained from Alpha Mosasaurus, Dunkleosteus, Electrophorus, Leedsichtys, Megalodon, and Sabertooth Salmon
  • Cooking turns it into the Cooked Prime Fish Meat
• Raw Meat:
  • Earned by gutting a creature
  • Cooking turns it into Cooked Meat
• Raw Fish Meat:
  • Received from gutting fish
  • Cooking turns it into Cooked Fish Meat

How to breed the Managarmr in ARK

This is how you prepare the breeding: If you have a male and female specimen, you build an enclosure that is large enough at best. Put both dinos in the pen and set them to "wander" via the command menu. Alternatively, you can also switch directly to "Pair", but then there must always be a player nearby, otherwise the pairing will stop due to the rendering.

The breeding interval for a Managarmr is 18 to 48 hours.

After successful mating, the female Managarmr will be pregnant for about 4 hours if you play with default settings. After these 4 hours, you can welcome the little Mangarmr baby into the world. As a baby, it takes up another 9 hours of your attention, during which you have to keep putting food in its inventory. Pay attention to the embossing intervals every 8 hours to tickle the greatest potential out of the baby.

Once it gains juvenile status, it can feed on its own. The entire maturing time takes about 3 days and 20.5 hours.
